Google’s sandbox effect

Google’s sandbox effect is basically a term given the websites that are new. Common thought has been that the sandbox term is given to websites that are not indexed by Google yet, this is far from the truth.

One of the reasons believed why Google implements the sandbox is because new sites have not earned the credibility yet. This is to deter spammers from creating sites and getting immediate high search engine results. It is one of Google’s algorithms which all new web owners hate but all seasoned web owners love as only the websites that have proven their worth achieve high search engine results.

It can take anything from 1 to 2 months for a website to get out of Google’s sandbox. I have had website which took only 3 weeks but generally 1 month plus is the expected time frame.
