SEOmoz – What has page rank got to do with it

Rand Fishkin of SEOmoz explained yesterday in White Board Friday how Google’s Page Rank effects search engine rankings of web pages.  He describes in a very simplified manner how Google rewards web pages with its Page Rank.  This will help you realise why quality link building is very important, many webmasters and SEO’ers go on a link building frenzy and get as many links as possible…  NOT a good idea!  Once again it’s the old adage “It’s quality not quantity” that must be used when link building.
