Google showing breadcrumbs in search results

Google confirmed that they are now using breadcrumbs within search results.

Google says that it may show these site heirarchies “for a small percentage of search results” when it improves the search snippet with more context about the link being pointed to. Here’s another reason why Breadcrumbs are so awesome for SEO, why? It helps the searchbots easily navigate through a website’s myriad of web pages.

What’s cool about the search result is that each ‘crumb’ is clickable so it gives the searcher more options and a brief insight of what products the website offers.

I personallyhaven’t seen these results live in Google South Africa but it’s a short caption of what will be available in hopefully the not too distant future.
